The open dispute
Rixa Aperta is Latin: rixa, a quarrel; aperta, open. A quarrel held in public.
- Pick a proposition on the board, or post your own. Someone takes the other side.
- You argue in turns, each on a clock the creator set. Miss your turn past the grace period and you forfeit.
- When the debate ends, readers score both sides and pick a winner. The result goes on both profiles, for good: every debate here is public, including the ones you lose.
- Reading is open to anyone. Accepting, posting, scoring and reporting ask you to sign in: an email code and a handle, no real name.
